Regional artist, Will Hazzard has very generously donated four of his own artworks to Wildlife Carers Network Central West Inc (WCNCW). WCNCW a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1996 with the aim of rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native wildlife that are brought into care due to injury, sickness or being orphaned.
WCNCW President Michelle Evans, dedicated volunteer wildlife Carer, stated “Will very kindly donated his artwork to our network to raise much-needed funds, to educate the public about wildlife caring, finding injured or sick animals plus raising awareness overall about what our network of unpaid volunteers do for native wildlife in our area”.
“Four paintings Will has donated are valued over $2500 to be auctioned or raffled by our network at a later date, this is an incredible donation by a kind young man that wishes to help the native wildlife in our area” she said.
One of his exceptional pieces, his Yellow-Tail Black Cockatoo, was chosen to be used on a cooler bag being sold by Coles supermarkets.
Will Hazzard quotes “I hope my art will touch people and inspire them to connect with the environment, land and native animals.”
