There is a range of government support available to assist local businesses through COVID-19:
NSW GOVERNMENT
COVID-19 Support Package and Business Support Webinar
The COVID-19 Support Package was recently boosted to include additional financial support measures for individuals, sole traders, businesses, as well as the creative services industry, and accommodation providers. Businesses can watch a webinar recording to learn about support available for NSW businesses.
Dine & Discover NSW Program Extended Again
The Dine & Discover NSW program has been extended to give NSW residents more time to use their vouchers and support local businesses once COVID-19 restrictions ease. Vouchers are now valid until Tuesday 30 June 2022. Businesses can still apply to be a part of the program
Commercial Tenant and Landlord Support
The NSW Government has re-introduced the Mandatory Code of Conduct for Commercial Leasing to mandate rent relief for eligible tenants impacted by COVID-19. A new $40 million Hardship Fund will also be established to provide a monthly grant of up to $3,000 for small commercial or retail landlords who provide rental waivers of at least the value of the grant and any eligible land tax relief.
Toolkit for Businesses Linked to a COVID Case
The NSW Government has developed a a toolkit for business owners with advice on what to do if their business is linked to a COVID case.
COVID Safe Check
Business owners can do a COVID Safe Check by accessing their QR code and business resources online, and update the contact person for their business.
New Check-in Card for Customers
